In 1938, Frank Sinatra found himself in legal trouble when he was apprehended by the Bergen County, New Jersey sheriff. He faced charges of seduction and adultery, both considered criminal offenses during that era. His arrest was recorded under the identifier ‘Arrest 42799,’ and a now-infamous mug shot was taken. However, the initial seduction charge was later amended to adultery and ultimately dismissed.
